Computing Resources Scrutiny Group
Established in 2007, the CRSG exists to inform the decisions of the C-RRB: it examines the CPU, disk and tape requests of ATLAS, CMS, ALICE and LHCb against their actual utilisation across Tier-0, Tier-1 and Tier-2. Per the MoU, scrutiny starts from the request information presented at the spring C-RRB meeting. It is the mechanism that makes “we need more computing” an auditable claim.
