Sirtfi — federated incident response
Federated identity creates a jurisdictional gap: the institution that issued the credential and the site where it is abused may share no authority, no contract and no language. Sirtfi closes it by having participants commit to a baseline of incident response capability and contactability. It is critical for handling incidents involving CERN and the WLCG — the security counterpart to vo-transitive-trust.
