Office of Data Privacy
The unit that advises data subjects, CERN personnel and external entities involved in processing personal data, headed by the Data Privacy Adviser. It is the expertise arm — distinct from the data-protection-commission, which is the supervisory one. The separation matters: whoever advises on compliance cannot also judge it.
