CERN Quantum Technology Initiative

QTI’s governance is deliberately two-layered: a Coordination Team of CERN experts led by a Coordinator sets priorities, while an Advisory Board of quantum experts from the Member States provides oversight. The design goal is stated openly — maximise the integration of bottom-up innovation with top-down guidance, the standing problem of governing an emerging technology nobody yet knows how to plan.
