Indico

Software written at CERN to manage the full lifecycle of an event, from a two-person meeting to an international conference. Launched in 2002 as a European project and adopted as CERN’s own in 2004, it is today used by over 200 organisations including 11 UN agencies — the UN alone has handled more than 180,000 participants with it since 2016. After the web itself, it is CERN’s most widely adopted piece of software.
