EDMS — CERN’s Engineering Data Management Service

The EDMS service site.

What it anchors

  • Established in the 1990s for the LHC project, EDMS stores, manages and distributes engineering information, with document life cycles, review processes, versioning, project numbering and access rights.
  • It is built on commercial PLM and EAM products and integrated with the CAD and maintenance-management systems, with CERN-developed web applications on top.
