The Medium-Term Plan

The MTP is how the cern-council approves strategy and budget over a rolling five-year horizon. For IT it is decisive: the construction of the prevessin-computing-centre was funded through it, justified by CERN’s obligations as cern-tier0 of the WLCG for Run 3 and beyond. Governance becomes concrete here — this is where a committee decision becomes concrete and steel.
